Key service note
Why this disclosure matters
A product-like interface can make it easy to assume CTCLoans is the lender. It is not. The actual creditor, if any, must identify itself before you accept an offer.
Decision block 02
How CTCLoans may earn money
- A participating lender, lender network or financial-service advertiser may pay CTCLoans when a request is transferred, matched, redirected or produces another agreed event.
- Compensation arrangements can differ by partner and may affect which partner receives a request or how options are displayed.
- Compensation does not mean a user is approved, and it does not replace the lender’s underwriting decision.
- CTCLoans does not charge the consumer a fee to submit a request.

How to interpret marketing claims
| Claim | Permitted meaning | Required limit |
|---|---|---|
| “Up to $35,000” | Refers to the CTC request range. | Not every partner offers the maximum, and no amount is guaranteed. |
| “Fast” or “same business day” | May describe possible lender timing when conditions are met. | Not a guarantee of approval, disbursement or bank posting. |
| “Bad credit” or “second chance” | Describes the audience or request context. | Does not mean credit history is ignored or approval is assured. |
| “No hard check” | Should appear only where the live partner process supports the claim. | Participating lenders may perform hard inquiries. |
