Decision block 01
One state selector, different possible outcomes
| Outcome | What it means | CTC behavior |
|---|---|---|
| Target option available | A participating partner may consider the requested product in your state. | Continue to partner review; no approval is guaranteed. |
| Target option unavailable | The specific product or partner cannot be presented in your state. | CTCLoans should route to a genuinely available alternative rather than show unavailable terms. |
| No appropriate partner match | The network may have no suitable route for the submitted information. | Show a clear no-match state and useful alternatives; do not manufacture an offer. |
Decision block 02
What can vary by state
- Participating lender coverage and licensing.
- Minimum and maximum amounts offered by a partner.
- APR, fees, term limits and other credit rules.
- Availability of installment, secured, cosigner or other product structures.
- Required notices, disclosures and marketing restrictions.
Decision block 03
Why CTCLoans does not publish one nationwide term sheet
CTCLoans is not the creditor, and partner/state coverage changes. A single nationwide APR, fee, loan amount or repayment schedule would imply uniformity that does not exist.
Decision block 04
Alternative route when a product is restricted
- Keep the user’s state and requested amount.
- Explain that the selected option is not available through the current network in that state.
- Show another network-supported credit path only if it is genuinely available.
- Where appropriate, surface a non-credit alternative or official resource.
- Never relabel an unavailable product just to preserve conversion.
