All-In Moving Budget Builder
Move-Date Funding Countdown
- 1: List the dates each deposit, mover or travel cost is due.
- 2: Mark which costs can be paid by card, later invoice or employer reimbursement.
- 3: Compare the lender verification/disbursement timeline with the earliest cash deadline.
- 4: Do not use “same day” marketing as a substitute for an actual move-date plan.
Employer / Landlord / Deposit Alternatives
- Ask whether an employer provides relocation reimbursement or an advance.
- Ask whether the landlord allows a split security deposit or alternative deposit product.
- Check whether utility deposits can be waived based on history or a guarantor.
- Sell/donate items that cost more to move than replace when practical.

Decision FAQ
Questions to resolve before you submit a request
Can a personal-loan request be used for moving expenses?
Depending on the lender and loan agreement, personal-loan funds may be usable for moving costs. CTCLoans does not set lender use restrictions.
What costs should I include?
Include movers/truck, travel, deposits, temporary lodging, storage, utility setup and any housing overlap.
Should I borrow before an employer reimbursement arrives?
Only after confirming the reimbursement amount and timing. Otherwise you may borrow more than necessary.
What if bad credit limits options?
Compare the full offer cost and reduce the request by using employer, landlord or moving-cost alternatives where possible.
