Decision FAQ
Questions to resolve before you submit a request
Can gig income count for a personal loan?
Some participating lenders may consider gig or self-employment income if it can be documented. CTCLoans does not set lender income rules.
Do I need a W-2?
Not necessarily. A lender may use platform records, bank statements, tax forms or other acceptable proof.
Should I report gross or net gig income?
Use the figures requested by the lender, but for your own affordability check account for recurring work expenses.
Does bad credit automatically disqualify a gig worker?
No universal rule applies. Lenders can consider credit, income, debt and other factors, and terms may be more expensive for weaker credit.
