SERVICE & DISCLOSURE

Eligibility Requirements

CTCLoans does not decide whether you qualify for credit. Participating lenders use their own underwriting rules. This page helps you prepare the information a lender may ask for and identify issues that can stop a request before you spend time on a full lender process.

Request-readiness baseline

AreaWhy it mattersPrepare this
Age / residenceThe service is intended for adults in the United States.Use accurate age, address and state information.
IdentityPartners may need to verify your identity.Be ready to provide legally requested identifiers or documents through a secure form.
IncomeA lender may assess income, continuity and ability to repay.Use current, supportable income—not an estimate you cannot document.
BankingSome partners may require a bank account or deposit history.Requirements vary; do not assume every lender accepts the same setup.
CreditA credit score may be one factor, but partners can consider other information.Review the credit-inquiry disclosure before continuing.

Income can look different

  • W-2 wages, self-employment, gig income, benefits, pension or other lawful income may be evaluated differently by different partners.
  • Public-assistance income should not be described as automatically disqualifying; a creditor may evaluate continuity and ability to repay using neutral criteria.
  • No-pay-stub does not mean no verification. Alternative documents can still be requested.
  • Do not overstate future income or omit existing obligations to make a request look stronger.

Common reasons to pause before submitting

Pause pointBetter next step
Information is incompleteFinish identity, income or bank details first so a partner is not evaluating a partial picture.
Requested amount is too high for your budgetReduce the request before using approval speed as the deciding factor.
You recently received a denialRead the lender’s adverse-action notice and fix the stated issue before repeating applications.
You cannot identify a repayment sourceA new loan can increase the gap rather than solve it.
The target product is unavailable in your stateUse the alternative route presented for that state rather than relying on unavailable terms.

CTCLoans eligibility tools are not approval scores

Any checklist, matcher or readiness result on CTCLoans is designed to help you organize information. It is not a lender decision, preapproval, or probability of approval.

Check your request readinessIf the basics are in place, you can continue to the request form. A participating lender still makes the credit decision.
